Jasper Soloff is a New York and Los Angeles-based photographer and director recognized for his bold, movement-driven imagery and vibrant visual storytelling. His work explores themes of identity, self-expression, and queer representation, challenging traditional conventions in contemporary photography and film.
With a foundation in classical ballet, Soloff transitioned to visual arts, studying black-and-white film photography at Sarah Lawrence College before further developing his expertise in color photography at Central Saint Martins in London. His distinctive aesthetic has been featured in leading publications, including Vogue, GQ, Paper Magazine, Dazed, and Nylon Magazine. In 2018, he was honored as VFILES Photographer of the Year, a testament to his impact on the industry.
Soloff’s portfolio includes collaborations with high-profile artists such as Billie Eilish, Gigi Hadid, Dove Cameron, Emma Chamberlain, Billy Porter, and Tate McRae. His commercial expertise extends to global campaigns for renowned brands, including Maybelline, Fenty Beauty, Amazon Fashion, Olay and Dropbox. Notably, his directing work for Maybelline’s “Press Play” campaign, featuring Gigi Hadid, was prominently displayed in Times Square and globally, and was their highest performing campaign of 2022. In 2023, Soloff was named the face of Canon’s EOS R8 camera, their newest full frame camera model, and the commercial featuring Soloff and his work was promoted worldwide.
